Newbie Training Cigar Pass-- For February 07-

Jazz you have been here three monthes and have 6x more posts, I do believe you qualify as a post whore

here are my puts and take for you guys, let me know if there is any problem

17. 5 Vegas Casket Strength, Toro $7 p: Don Pepin Black Belicoso $7.40
45. Mystery Cigar? $17 p: Padron 1926 #1 $20
64. Partages Decadas 1995 #1 $14.25 p: Ashton ESG Robusto

Hope everyone agrees, and this pass is moving great!

It looks good to me Joel. I have to tell you that I hope that the 5 Vegas Casket does not become popular. It really is a nice little cigar. I enjoy it for its tobacco sweetness. It comes in this gorgeous box that the kids love and the cigars are quite enjoyable. I paid $99 for 20 at CI. I know some people may dislike 5 Vegas for good reason, but this one is not at all bad.

And enjoy the mystery cigar. You may want it to rest awhile in your humi to settle down a bit as it contains a lot of tobacco and has been on the road for over a month.

Who is next???? Are they close to you as they are also in Kansas City?? I think the next receipient is over the river in another State. When you get the OK that they are ready to receive just post the DC number so they can expect it.

...and the beat goes on... :)

Hey, life happens and sometime unhappens. If he is around let him play. We make the rules here so let us have some fun. The more the merrier!!

I'll wait for him to get back to me then. Either way this pass will be movin shortly

Great!! Smoke River is next in line and I him next on the first thread. The Puts and Takes have been updated so please check for errors. Thanks again for joining!!

I just want to let everyone know that I think this pass is really moving along great. Of course, I am not a FOG but for a lot of newbies here we really are handling ourselves like FOGs!! In regards to the puts and takes, there has really been no problem as everyone here has been very generous and a true BOTL. The key has been communication. I hope that some of the FOGs are watching to see that we have a bunch of newbies here that are a bunch of standup guys. Thanks everyone for making this happen and fun!!

Joel,

You notice the contest we have going here? Tomthirtysix is running it. Check it out at the above threads!! I heard Tomthirtysix has some really nasty dog rockets he is trying to get rid of!!

OK... now for the contest. Inspired by the contests I saw going on in this pass, and the the Vieja Pass. The prize for this one will be a mixed fiver of some smokes that I have enjoyed.

Rules:
1. Starts now and ends Friday, March 16 at 1200 Eastern.
2. Open to all CP'ers.
3. One entry per poster (you'll see why only one a little further down)
4. I'll be the judge.
5. I can change the rules as needed at any time.

I want to see a picture that represents your greatest moment as a sports fan. Now, since it is supposed to be the greatest moment, each of you should have only one. No duplicates. If someone else before you has the same greatest moment, find another shot that represents it.

Now, don't let my sports allegiances influence you. The fact that I am a Mets fan doesn't mean I necessarily am looking for the picture of Jesse Orosco launching his glove in the air. The subject is kind of broad and left for your personal interpretation. And when I announce the winner, I'll post the picture that represents mine.

Good luck everyone!

Edit to add: Along with the pic, if it isn't obvious what exactly the moment is, maybe a sentence or two explaining it.

Right here...

Randy Couture comes back after a year of retirement at age 43 to take on longtime Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia
Randy Couture: 43, 6'2, 220 lbs., Reach of 71 inches (i think)
Tim Sylvia: 31, 6'8, 255 lbs. Reach of 93 inches

This fight was rediculous, Randy was out matched in every catagory and a huge underdog! But the second the bell rang, Randy jumped in a knocked down Sylvia with the first punch, then went on to dominate him for 25 minutes, 5 5 min. rounds, This was incredible. Randy Couture is now a title holder for the 6th time, and now is age 44 as of last week!

I've had a few of the LGC and they are awesome :)

They are. That said I know many a BOTL that find it to over powering. It is one to sit down and enjoy after a good meal with lots of time afterwards to savor the smoke. A great cigar. It is too bad that the Limitada line will be discontinued.
