I think it's long passed time since she should have taken care of this. If one were to look back since then, I bet one would find at least 5 times that she has posted pics of herself (or had someone else post them for her), but not one of her sending you any cigars. HMMMMMMM.

Interesting point, Ole KayakinBoy get hammered for being late with trades yet I've never publicly called out Dawn for never sending her end of a trade we did in the spring of 2004. I sent her five or six cigars and she was supposed to send me two tapes of her theater group's performance of "Twelfth Night" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show"

That's my fault, I sent her a couple of PM's and she acknowledged the fact that she owed me and I should have followed up on that but I never did. The last time I PM'd her asking about our trade, she never got back to me. I've dropped a few subtle hints here and there (like in this thread) hoping that would remind her but it doesn't seem to matter to her.

So that's the story, AVB's point is right on the money, if KB's trading habits are up for discussion, then Dawn's should be too.

We could break out the whips, but judging by her pictures, it would only excite her into posting more. I vote she gets suspended until Bill receives his half of the trade. The lack of attention will force her hand.

This is very interesting. I remember when Dawn (aka dawngirl) joined HP years ago. I half-jokingly, but very strongly, called her out on her very first post as an attention-seeker and I got hammered and called a scumbag, etc. for being mean. Not too long after that,I was getting apologies from those same guys saying I was correct all along.

This internet thing sure is a loony-magnet ain't it?

Dawn's main hobby and interest is stage acting, I'd bet she's very good at it. I admire people who have this talent and dedicate their time to this because it's not like you can make tons of money in the "business" it's a labor of love. Again, that's highly admirable. While I'm not one who regularly attends live stage performances, the times I've gone to see a play, musical or ballet, I've enjoyed it immensely. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for artists.

So Dawn appears to be an attention grabber. That's okay too, it doesn't surprise me from someone who's got the talent and guts to perform on a live stage. She likes to "flirt" with the guys and that's fine too. After all, 99+% of the members here are men so naturally she's going to attract attention.

She likes cigars and it's nice that she checks in with us from time to time. She's pleasant, intelligent and adds something to the site like most members do.

My concern is that we agreed to do a trade and she never kept her end of the deal. This has been going on for over a year and a half. That's not a good way to treat people Dawn and it might be nice if you'd contact me or send your end of the deal rather than ignoring my PMs.

It's too bad because for someone whom I used to have a positive impression of and admire for her talents she's let me down.......
