Netflix and other shows you are watching

I'm two episodes into The Rings of Power. So far it's been great and Bear McCreary's score is top notch as always.

As a fan of the Hobbit and LOTR, I wondered how this would be. Guess I’ll take a shot and see.

Watched the first few episodes of "The Patient" on Hulu ... good start so far.

Finished Cobra Kai S5 last night. Man, it gets a little dark there at the end! It was entertaining, for sure, but I do hope that this is it, now; I'm not sure where else they can take the show (when you finish this season, you'll understand what I mean -- no spoilers).

Is it ok for my 14 year old?. How dark?

If he's watched the series up to this point, it's fine for him. I'm pretty sure there are significantly more f-bombs and overall swearing, in general, this season, but I don't think that is anything he's been sheltered from in life. :P

Can't be worse than me at his baseball games....

I am trying to catch up on Yellowstone. Finished season 1 last night.

The Grand Tour: A Scandi Flick, is out on Amazon. It's your typical offering from The Three Old Guys, but I do think it was one of their better ones as of late. It's nothing we haven't seen before from Top Gear/The Grand Tour but, to quote Voodoo Paul, "It's comfort food".

Agreed, parts of it had me laughing out loud.

I've been saving it to watch for a cooler Saturday when I can't go outside for a smoke. Make a bowl of soup or some ramen for lunch and enjoy the show!

I've started watching "Timeless" on Netflix. It's a fun show in the vein of Quantum Leap (which also has a redux out on Peacock), but a bit more heavy on the historical events.
