Ok, so I FINALLY had a chance to review the Corona size stick. Keep in mind that this is my first ever review, and all pictures came from my cheap ass cellphone. Now, on with the show....
The stick's appearance was very well constructed, IMO. A nice, chocolaty wrapper was very appealing to the eye:
After toasting the foot and taking a few drags, I was surprised at how tasty it was. I was expecting something a little harsh to be honest, but it has a nice woody undertone with just a tad bit of spice.
As I continued to smoke, the burn was consistent and steady. The ash was a nice peppery color:
At almost the halfway point, I was thoroughly enjoying this stick. However, the flavor profile wasn't really changing for me. It seemed to be the same taste from the first puff onward:
After the first inch of ash fell off, the burn was a little funky. I didn't have to do any relights, but when it finally evened out again, it had this funny little fan-top at the end:
Since the cigar was small and light-bodied (not quite medium), I was able to get pretty far down on the thing:
Taking one last hit off the poor little guy:
And one more showoff picture. Nubbed that sonofabitch:
Overall, not a bad stick, and I wouldn't mind smoking more depending on the price point. The only critic is that the flavor profile never really changed, but everything else was nice. Draw was good....burn was even for the most part.....never had to relight.....wrapper stayed intact.
Al, thanks again for the opportunity to try out your cigars. I still have the Churchill to review, but I'm saving that for another time and another place. Will be sure to post it here though when I do.
