I'd get some thin dishes, like a petri dish, and then get some low tox antifreeze (propylene glycol) and put some of those in there. PG will self regulate to about 65%, should help a bunch.
Schrödinger's Cat.
Is it 63-66% when you aren't looking?
Did you kill the cat? Or was it already dead?
I seem to be a little late to this conversation...but in reading your post so far, the best advice I could offer you as a 40+ year cigar smoker is to try one of two things.
1) Ritalin
or
2) Xanax
I had an employee who was on it. He was a handful. For instance, he would get some wild, boneheaded, idea, come in after hours, and then spend all night adding details and notes, etc. to all the drawings in a package. I'd find him sleeping at his desk in the morning. And I mean EVERY drawing (say a $300k pkg). So, if the idea was in the "Mechanical" arena, he would add crap to the "Electricals" as well.I thought Ritalin in adults was like doing a line of coke???

Can either help him hear better? Because I think his primary issue is selective hearing...
