My Trip to London and Scotland - Cigars & Scotch

You need to do the full whisky trail and then you will have had a total scotch experience  Of course, you'll run out of money before they run out of stuff you want to buy :)

I did several distillery tours and tastings along the trail and on the trip from Inverness to Edinburgh. Macallan is by far my favorite and was actually the reason that started me planing the trip to begin with.

Here's a great pic of the Macallan private collection that is in the "famous house" on the distillery property. Usually off limits, I was allowed to pretty much roam where ever I wanted after the tour. I had to press the camera right up against the glass of the den window but it came out pretty good considering. Probably around $400k on those shelves.

Sweet photos man. Looks like you had a great trip. The wife and I are planning a London trip this fall. Hoping to make it up to Scotland, but not sure yet if that will happen or not.

Make SURE you got to Scotland! London really isn't anything too special. Very similar to NY. Scotland is an entirely different world.

Great pics and thanks for sharing. I got to get to Carnoustie...I would give my left pinky to play that course.

Very nice trip report. I'm actually a fan of London, but the family and I are going to get up to Edinburgh sometime soon for a weekend. I was just planning on hitting up Royal Mile Whiskys, but we may need to add a distillery tour to the agenda. Mac 12 and Mac 18 are my favorites.
