My neighbor's not right in the head.

This is one of the weirdest stories I've heard in a while. I'd be scared one day I'd wake up and he was downstairs cooking me breakfast.

I don't think any of my neighbors are "right in the head" especially the one behind us. They just built a house behind us and since moving in last fall (from the "City") they have cut down all the trees in their yard, all of them. What I ask are you doing building a house in the woods and then commence to cutting all the trees down on your property? I just don't get it, we moved out to the woods to get away from the concrete jungle, not to see out neighbor on their deck waving at us when we leave the house.

While that is strange, I would think it more strange if after he cut down his trees, he went out and started cutting them down again. This is the kind of insanity we're talking about here. Now imagine that, but in YOUR back yard. Yes, it is somewhat unsettling.

Edit - Had to add, because I forgot to mention it earlier, but he does the mowing over the same spot 4-5 times in my yard as well it seems.

Definitely OCD. You'd be amazed by what it can do to some people who have it.

Yep, sounds like it. You'd be amazed at how little I can last in a new public building I just stepped into before I have to find the bathroom to wash my hands... I think I lasted 3 minutes?

Sounds like OCD... Hell, I've yelled at my wife because she "claimed" she cleaned something. But when I cleaned it, it was still dirty. Thank You Marine Corps! lol

Very odd. I only have two other storys about lawn mowing.

Where I used to live, we had a new neighbor move in next door. Introduced myself and all that. Explained to them that I would cut the grass attached to mine, because it just made sense, and it was no trouble. Part of their front yard property is actually connected to mine, because of some drunken idiot when they zoned it out and put up fences. So when it came to cut the grass, I noticed at the end of their driveway they've placed two rocks on either side on the grass. Now honestly, I could care less, its their property...but it just looked tacky as well as making it a pain to cut the lawn that I said I would. I move the stupid rock, and I'm cutting and trimming when I realize that the rocks I've moved actually came from my property back by the fence. Ok no biggie, as the only reason I even had them was I no where to ditch them. So as I'm sweeping up, my new neighbors wife sticks her head out the window to chastise me for moving "her" rock, and that I didn't need to cut the lawn on "her" property.

It was all I could take from throwing that rock through her window. Needless to say, I stopped cutting "her" grass from that point on.

Now I live in a nicer area where most everyone, including us, has a lawn service that takes care of their lawn (mainly because of the size of the propertys). Well everyone but my one neighbor. He prefers to cut his lawn Saturday and Sunday morning, every weekend....starting at about 6 or 7 am. Talk about annoying... Oh, the funny part is....he IS doing it to get away from his wife lol.
