"My first Pass Ever" Pass

Bill - I go out of town for about a week on the 26th, so double check with me before you send Elvis out. If it's too close to me leaving I'll either ask you to hold it for a week or just skip me so as not to hold things up.

One corner of the box is pretty beat up but the contents look fine so far. I'll try to do my puts/takes on Sunday and get this baby outta here on Monday ;)

*EDIT* ooops, I just saw Jason's post. If I ship it on the 23rd, you'll get it on the 25th, will that be too close to your departure date? If so, I can hold it for a week, my basement has ther perfect RH & Temp right now so it won't be a problem at all.
 
CC can you shore up the corner or reinforce it?...we can't have Elvis falling apart...but if you look at it...he was lean and mean heading out and now that he is approaching the end of the world tour..he is betting fatter and falling apart...how ironic.

If anything goes wrong and for some reason I don't get it on the 25th it will sit at the post office or the package room in my apartment building for a week. I don't want to chance putting Elvis in harm's way. If everyone doesn't mind, please hold it until I get back.

CC hold it until Jason gets back so we don't loose the fat man in NY or you can send him to NC then surfer can send him to NY....choice is yours...either is fine with me.

But if you let Elvis shack up for a week don't have a mini herf with his luggage & his luggage or keep us in the dark with your P/T's...:)

I don't mind holding it at all and I think that would be the best thing to do as I was pleasantly surprised at the WIDE selection of Havanas in this pass that I'd bet Jason would be sorry if he were to miss this pass.

So, let's wait for his return ;) :thumbs:
 
Bill - Checking in from the road.. It's probably safe to mail the pass today or tomorrow. I'm back home Sunday. Use your judgement.
 
Saturday might be the best day to mail it since no mail delivery on Monday. This way, you'll get it on Tuesday.

This actually probably worked out okay since I wouldn't want to send ANYTHING to New York City this week :0 the "protesters" might turn over the mail truck and raid the ceegars.

I heard there's some kind of convention going on down there, is it a Star Trek convention or something ??? :D :sign:
 
Think it might be the Pez Collectors Convention or Beenie Babies Convention...not sure but they appear to be a rough crowd...Police arresting them left & right

I heard they had some sort of security breech last night. They had some unusually dressed protestors sneak in. Seems to me with all the money spent on security that they could scope out the obvious nuts. :(
 
If they kept the obvious nuts out all the people that came to hear Bush speak would be dissapointed when he didn't show.

The Elvis tour bus has pulled in. Much like our last president I think Elvis has gotten a little too fat for his own good! :0 I don't think I'll be able to get this thing out until the weekend because it's huge.

Everything appears to be in good shape except the hygrometer in the pass box which I think I reassembled successfully. I went through the box and more or less chose my takes, now I just need to figure out the appropriate puts. Will post when I get it done.

BTW, I was very tempted to steal Kingpin's souvenir! :D :thumbs:
