My favorite cigar band and why.

...and it's not fancy or anything, but it brings back memories of my old bulldog. I gotta say that I love the Old Henry cigar labels. Who else likes a particular cigar band and why?

Gotta go with the Diamond Crown Maximus simply because it looks freakin sweet. I'm also a fan of the Gurkha band.

Not as glamourous as the DCM but I like the Padron 1926 band. Simple and has a nice contrast against the background of a maduro cigar. The ESG band is very nice as well.

I was thinking about buying Old Henry's for the same reason - the bull dog. There have been good cigars that I stayed away from just decause of the band.

I really like the simplicity of the Tatuaje bands, even if they are kind of Montecristo rip offs.

The best gag label is the Flor de Baloney by J&R. It is a great one to pass out and see the reaction!! :laugh:

I will have to go with the Black Forbidden X band. My other favorite would be the Mx2.

Opus and Forbidden X are very cool...also really like the Tatuaje for the cool simplicity. Hate the Ashton ESG band...too gaudy!

I like the red Opus bands. Before we decided on moving; I was slowly putting together my smoking room based on the colors within that band. My Wife and I even brought it along with us to Linens N' Things looking for curtains.

Love the GOF band and have to say, the ESG is really pretty.

In addition to the ones mentioned, I also like the Partagas Black and Cuesta Rey bands. Avo does a pretty nice job on their bands too.

Mine were gifted. I smoked 4-5 of them. Only one of these was pleasant. The others sucked, imho. Nice band on a so-so cigar.

That is a cool band. For me, the Opus bands are awesome, ESG bands are nice as are the Don Carlos Edicion de Anniversario.
