The one on top I believe is called a bumblebee, I was immediately drawn to the short, and fat round appearance with the huge bowl. Not to mention, it's a sitter!

The second is a Roma Lucite, I just got it a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it!

One thing I've always been concerned about is cleaning the bowl. How long is substantial before cleaning the carbon build-up in the bowl. I've always thought it good to have a nice carbon build-up. These two pipes are fairly knew, and just starting the seasoning process, but when is it time to use alcohol, and what are the cleaning procedures for doing so without messing up the pipe?

Anyways, this is just a little of my savinelli porn, I plan on getting one more by summer....then looking into a boswell.

Nice pipes BigJake. I love the color of the stem on the second one. That first pipe is a mighty stout looking piece.

Beauties! I especially love th author (the one you call a bumblebee). I've been looking for one of those.

I wouldn't use any alcohol in the bowl for awhile. For briars I just wipe the interior of the bowl down with a paper towel after a smoke. This helps build the cake. I do this after clearing the dottle, of course.

Good luck!

Is it called the "Autho?" Our store got it in a full set of sandblasteds that we ordered, so I wasn't too sure of the name, but someone else told me that's what it was. Great pipe for $80. Good to know about the ptowels, thanks for the input.
