Yes, I do understand that part, and I apologize to anyone who was or is offended by the term "Jap"...I do understand that, totaly within the proper context....but now we have changed the issue to "people" ??? Pretty nice spin, but it has no relevences to what I was talking about...and thats too has been pointed out by some of the "natives" here (and I suppose thats derogatory as well??) I just don't understand the plight, I made a common comment, and now I am offending people ethnic backgrounds??...

Case in point:

I've known many men who've owned Sportsters. Several of those were "insulted" by the remark made by many that a Sporty is a "woman's bike". I've even heard of a couple of guys get the shit kicked out of them for making that statement. Who was right and who was wrong there???

Who was right?? well, the fella who kicked the shit out of the smart ass, I'd say...Ive seen more girls ride FXs, FLH, Wide Glides, Road Kings and V-rod than Sportys...Most Sporty's are 1200cc now, and a great bike to get started on, not to mention about $10k cheaper....Back in the old days, most all the 1%ers started out on Sportys, because they were a dime a dozen, cheap, and FAST!!! and I doubt anyone would have the nuts to walk up to a Hells Angel and tell him he is riding a "girls" scoot..


To greatful: I am very sorry this had to happen on your thread, I surely didn't want, nor expected this kind of crap to transpire from what I thought was "helping"....and again, anyone whos ethnic background was offended by my comment, I apologize, and please forgive me!!!
