Motorcycle Trailer Hitch

Have you gotten to ask anyone else who has your bike? I imagine the hitches all attach and ride very different depending on which model bike you have.

I've donw some looking around on other forums...but thought folks here may have an idea(as I know some ride)!
 
My 1st question would be.....what kind of bike are we talking about?? I would assume Harley BUT!!!...I know there are alot of folks who ride Jap Harley clones!!!

Is it a softail??...Road King??...FLHT??...and what year??

Here is one I found, from a very realiable company for aftermarket scooter parts!!!

What do you think is endearing about the term, "Jap Harley Clones"? No, really, I want to know how that's helping anything. Is it helpful that you feel your Harley is so superior that you need to say something derogatory about other makes and models of motorcycles? Because I thought at once that the whole point was that we like to get out on two wheels and enjoy the road and that all that matters is that you ride. But clearly you've shown me that I'm mistaken, and I must be some kind of second class motorcycle rider because I chose to purchase a Jap Harley Clone. Is that the case? Because if so then I think my point has been made.

I wasn't being derogartory at all in references made to Jap Harley Clones thats just what they are my friend, clones.....and I don't think at anytime in my post did I say, that "MY" Harley is superior to anything, where the hell are you reading that??...I have no problems with other makes of bikes, its all the same at the end of the day... YOUR IN THE WIND no matter if your riding a Vespa....if I had such hang ups, I wouldn't own a HONDA :D

THAT..is just your opinion of what I said...doesn' mean your right, and you have no call to post to me as you have, because of what "you thought"....NOPE, not the case what so ever, and the only point I've seen you make so far, is more "derogarory and ignorant" than any post I've made!!!

Maybe you shouldn't post so emotionally , and think a bit before being so cocky..... (THATS just my opinion...)
 
Have you ever pulled a trailer? I have known people that hate them. They tend to push the ass out in corners. Trailer wants to go straight not turn. I do know someone who got a single wheel trailer for there Wing and it leans with the bike taking out the cornering problems. Just keeping it light will help to.

I'm just looking to haul around some yard brush and maybe some used housing materials on the weekends.

You don't need a trailer on the bike, you could just get one of these:

One of the guys who works at the same dealership as I do has a hitch from Hitch Doc he loves it and once the ball is off it is almost gone its a slick unit.

Also what year is your bike? and also make sure the person putting in the wireing knows what they are doing, we have seen some hackjobs before and its a bad thing to say the least. Just a fyi pulling a trailer on your bike can void your powertrain warranty if Harley is in a pissy mood and you are still under warranty. I have never seen it happen but I have heard of it happening to someone. Just a heads up but there are alot of people around me who have them and have never had any issues.
