Gator and Stogie.... Where y'all at in FL? Where is a good meeting place. The CP by State Here shows 14 Floridian CPers, though I don't know how many are active. We need to pick a location and time to get together. I'm in Ft Walton Beach / Destin area now, but have a rental car so I shoulod be able to make a day trip south if we want. Are you guys mostly around Tampa, Miami, somewhere else.

Ideas, inputs? Anyone want to come up here? (doubt it)

I get in at noon on Sat Aug 21st. That gives me Sat or SUn night to do something before I leave on Mon Morning.

What are you all doing this Sat. I get in at noon(ish) and was thinkin=g that maybe we could get together Sat evening at about 8pm at Tommy Mac's (a fav pub of mine - low key, good food and drinks - relaxed atmosphere) It's on 12 mile just west of Mound on the north side of the street.

I'll leave to go back home monday morning. so Sat or Sun are the only options if we want last hurrah before I go back.

What do you all think?

I'm flying from Ft Walton Beach to Detroit thru Memphis..... not to hard to get past lower Cana..uh... Ohio

Im gonna be up there sooner and have some dinner, probably around 6 or so. Dale will be there, but he has to be home and up early on Sunday, he's heading to the race at MIS about 4 am.

I have one night left (tomorrow - Fri 20 Aug) if you want to get together. Not sure what plans I might have (none now).... friends in calss were thinking about going out to celebrate finishing class. I've heard rumors of Howl at the Moon, Sammy's etc, but nothing concrete. I'm at 5811627 rm 2107. Should be home from class about 4pm or so.

Hey Karl, THANK YOU! It was great to meet you, you are a true BOTL, and a fine person! It's nice to make a new friend now and then. I hope you had a safe trip back to Oki, and thanks again for the sticks and the patch! How cool is that! :thumbs:

I'm giving them a couple weeks to recover from the flight, but will let you know how they turn out. I have a bud that I'm gonna share one with (Rich - the guy I told you that got me into the hobby) and will put a review up when we do. I'm setting a box up to send you for a down-payment on splitting the Anacondas. I'll let you know when it is away (tonight or tomorrow depending on if I can get out of work before the PO closes. Expect a couple ISOMs and Don Tomas as we discussed.
