I love minor league baseball. I particularly like the various "alternate IDs" they come up with throughout the year to put a focus on random aspects of their local culture.

But this one... This one can go straight to hell.

The artwork is really well done, though.

I thought this was a thread about the Boston Red Sox.

We've had the Tulsa Drillers since 1977. They've been Double A for:

Texas Rangers (1977-2002)
Colorado Rockies (2003-2014)
LA Dodgers (2015-present)

Pudge Rodriguez is probaby the best known MLB player, that came up through the Drillers.

We have the Yard Goats in Hartford. Not sure why its the Yard Goats when Hartford is known for Insurance not warehouse's or train yards.

Has anyone watched a Savannah Bananas game? I know it's not Minor League, but it looks fun. They've sold out the one time they came to Tulsa.

I saw they used to have a cigar deck? I emailed them about tix for this year. The deck has a new sponsor and there's no smoking.
Yes, the cigar deck was a great thing. When the former team ( NJ Cardinals) was there, a group of us would rent the smoking box a few times a season & have a great time at the ballpark.
