Minneapolis Visit

I know the prices here are less than Canadian prices, but don't expect anything like you see online. Our taxes here are pretty high as far as taxes in the U.S. go.

Or the hotel front desk may allow guests to receive packages. I'd just call them ahead of time to see if that's acceptable, and if so time your order so they'll arrive during your stay.
 
Hey Tim, Some of the Mlps crew got together last nite for a smoke and we talked about setting something up for meeting you on the Sat. you are in town. Seemed around Noon or 1:00 sat afternoon would work best for the locals, and we figured if its your ani. the wife may not be as unhappy if you left for a smoke around that time.

With that said I know you mentioned the St Paul Golden Leaf is a shop you would like to see which is cool with us, but although its is the best set-up for a place to smoke it does not have the best humidor for choices. We were thinking going to Stogies on grand which is about 5 min away from the leaf might be a good place to meet and allow you more cigars to choose from, and if its nice we can smoke outside there on the patio, and if its cold/weather we will just head down to Golden leaf and buy one more cigar and enjoy the lounge there.

Hey there... actually Saturday 1pm is perfect for me... I already discussed with the wife and shes totally fine with that... I will be leaving my klds with my brother for a few hours on Saturday (PArt of his gift for my birthday / Anniversary) so If no one minds, I would bring the wife along (Shes a SOTL as well, just not online).

The hotel Im staying at is at 7800 Normandale Boulevard, in Minne, so It doesnt look terribly far at all.

Cant wait to meet you guys!

You must be at the Sheraton in Bloomington. That's a nice hotel. Not far at all from the downtown action. I used to work just south of there at an advertising agency.

Wish I could make it to meet up with everyone. Have fun!

Just a reminder / confirmation. Unless my GPS leads me into a river, I will be at Stogies on Grand in St. Paul at 12:30pm on Saturday. I have programmed in Golden Leaf for both Minne and St. Paul as well, so if you guys change your mind and want to go someplace else, just send me a PM and Ill be checking my email from time to time while Im there.

Cigar Stores:
BURN in burnesville and Tobacco Grove in Maple Grove - same owner and great guys. Stogies on Grand is a big one is St. PAul as well.

For food.....
Murray's is my favorite for Steak, along with Gianni's in Wayzata. Bacio's in Minnetonka is good italian, along with Campiello in Uptown. Generic eats, Capital Grill and The Times in NE Minneapolis are fun places.
