I was going to purchase a box of "Macoba Miniatures" that I saw in my Cigars International catalog, but they no longer carry them or it has been removed from the site. Was $15.00 (originally $40.00!) for a box of 100 (3.5"x20) non-filters. The description said "Made for the German market, Macoba is a dry-cured miniatures that's mild-bodied and enhanced with a subtle vanilla flavor and slight sweetness. This is a mellow quick smoke with crowd-pleasing aroma..."

They sound really nice for a quick smoke! I love vanilla flavor and a sweet cigar. Google couldn't find these anywhere though. Bummer eh?

There were also these Shrapnel Mini's that come in Sweets flavor. I never heard of this brand or anything but one of the boxes in the picture says Victor Sinclair, which I've heard of (of course). "Shrapnel's are a great quick-fix when you have that need-a-smoke craving and don’t have a lot of time. Comprised of quality, aged leaves these short smokes come in two varieties. The Naturals are traditional short smokes offering a crisp, smooth flavor when time is of the essence, while the Sweets give you a a great, sugary-sweet break from the norm. Perfect for 15 minute car rides or smoke breaks, these little guys rarely disappoint!" The Shrapnel's are $29.99 for a box of 100 (originally $75.00!)

Any thoughts or recommendations? :)

Hoyo de Monterrey makes a Mini & Cigarillo for the Excalibur line. Very fine smokes, but not flavored with vanilla or anything. These are my "go to" for quick smokes.

Hope that helps.

The tinned Olivia Serie O are a great small smoke, a real kick in the ass. By the looks of it, might be a little on the spicy end for you...

The CAO Daggers that come in a tin are excellent. All of their varieties are good. I can't speak much to the flavored little ones. The HdM tins are good and so are the Partagas.

Yes; post an introduction thread in the appropriate forum, and fill out your profile.....

Have fun - B.B.S.

and, IMNSHO avoid the dry cured smokes unless you have developed that particular affinity. Cabaiguan makes the wicked good Guapo JR (a demi-tasse), I liked them so much I bought a box. There are minis from Tatuaje that are very nice as well. A friend of mine used to smoke Havana Honeys Mini Tins that were flavored & unflavored.

Big ass yellow Hello Kitty in your sig!!?? Thank GOD for adblock and FireFox!

Try this Sancho Panza Matadors. ~6 bucks for a tin of 20.

Amen to that, it hurts to read his posts.

As a suggestion, I really like Patel juniors, the sungrowns especially, or Patel Factory Selects, they are "factory reject" Patel sungrowns, taste and smoke the same though for half the price.

I've heard the Mini Davidoff's are great lil smokes.

Instead of Shrapnel, just get backwoods....they look about the same....

Thanks for recommendations!

I smoked a lot of the Petite Tatuajes and Cabaiguans over the last winter. They are both really well made and flavorful.
Just don't smoke them too fast.
