You're in big trouble now fella...

You have referred to your cigars as 'my cigars'.

Your name is 'Mike'.

Hence, we can conclude that you tried to trick us into believing that you are ass-ociated with 'Mike's Cigars'.

We all need to send an e-mail to Oscar telling him that Zeebra is infringing upon his trademark..... NOT :sign: :sign:

Hang tough Mr.™ Mike™ Bylick™, I remember when you went through this BS the last time. :angry2:

I'm going to call Oscar and let him know that I think he's making a mistake and that this is not going to help his business out at all. He must be making one hell of alot of money to be able to sue you!

if he is lawsuit happy..i don't dare post what is on the inside cover of his catalog

Maybe I am missing something. What is the connection, or alleged connection between you, your business and Mike's Cigars? You can't be saying that someone, a few people, many people, etc., called you Mike in a letter and the fact that you are in the cigar business -- that is the alleged grounds for this threat of a lawsuit.

What am I missing?

Eric

You are really not missing anything..

Mikes Cigars, or their lawyers say that my using the words Mike or Mikes in my website constitues a tradmark violation. while they do have a tradmark on "mikes cigars" we are not using these terms in our tradmark or website.

We own our own tradmark and understand the terms and regulations.

at this point we may have resolved this issue, I am waiting on word... but its insulting to me, for them to say we are trying to confuse customers.

MD Cigars has worked very hard for our reputation and we did not use Mikes Cigars or any other companies name to do it. and we dont think the customers are confused in any way

Anyway, hopefully this issue is resolved. I will update you if anything changes.
