Mike or Jake tonight?

I have only saw a few exchanges via clips. But the last round exchange I saw, looked like Mike was about to go down. You guys think Mike pulled punches?

Maybe age did get to him? Hell, I don't know. Unless he was getting paid to make the fight go all 8 rounds, he should have tried to end it those first few rounds, when he still had some gas.

I heard people say he was biting his glove because he knew he could have hurt Paul and had a contract not to. Hell I don't know either. I'm happy Mike didn't get hurt, and I hope he doesn't fight anymore. To much to lose.

I don’t think either one really tried to win, which I think was good for both of them. It was an exhibition match called a sanctioned match. The 2 minute rounds, the heavier gloves, neither one really appeared to be properly warmed up. It was all show and no go. For a young man not to ko an old man, or for a legend not to ko a guy who just now looks like he learned the fundamentals of boxing, it might as well been called WWF…

Before the fight was rescheduled, there were reports that Tyson would not get paid if the fight did not go 8 or 10 rounds.
The video clips of Tyson in training looked like he may have lost a step or two with age but he still had that power.

Tyson had 20 millions reasons to play the part he did.
