MD Herf 01/27/07

Bummer. No can do Saturday. Have a good time, guys and gals!

Wilkey
Bummer! We'll miss ya, Wilkster! ;) Guess I'll have to smoke that figurative ESG. Ah, figurative cigars are the best, figuratively speaking, of course. :D

But I will hang onto a couple Edmundos from this great batch for us to enjoy at some future herf.

I will plan to get to the HH around 6pm on Sunday. Hopefully earlier.

Wilkey, things are looking good for this Thursday as well. Who will be a part of that herf? I'll arrive at my normal 7pm if that works.

I didn't know anyone was planning something on Thursday. Who's coming? I'm game since I don't have to be at work until midnight. So you are definitely coming, Bobby?

Steve

Steve-

I can meet this Thursday. I believe Wilkey will be available as well. I'm not sure who else will be in attendence.

I'm gonna try and make it Thursday, if the weather is good.

I'll get the word out and see who else I can shake out of the trees. I'll be there at 8PM after my meeting.

Wilkey

Steve-

What time will you get there this Thursday? I'll plan to arrive at 8pm unless you (or anyone else) decides to meet a little earlier.

Rob

I should be able to get there Thursday.
It'll be nice to meet some of you guys.

I gotta get Vortex's REAL opinion on puffing that Baloney!
LOL

Chemyst

Gentlemen,

Let's try to keep this on track for the Saturday herf please.

Come on down brotha! We'll develop all kinda opinions! :D

Oh, I thought it was an OK bundle cigar that was a bit overpriced and extremely over-hyped. And they were definitely better on the dry side like most cigars. ;)

That's why your new 68% equilibrium is better than 70% which is too moist for almost all cigars. What you need is a dry box. I just use a desktop with mostly dry beads in it. But I don't like to store all my cigars at 65%. Some of the milder cigars suffer for it.

Steve,

I can't say that I look forward to smoking any baloney.

But, perhaps I can stop at C-City on the way over and
get something new (to me) to try out Thurs. evening.
Thinking something RP or...? And I have a few Montes
to burn before they deteriorate.

Randy might need to get out, too. I'll email him.

Chemyst

BTW, that 68% has a +/- 1.5% tolerance/margin of error.

So we have the following coming. If I missed you LMK.

Myself & wife
Mr. Wolf & wife
Vortex & unk
Brewmeister & wife
BobbyRitz sans wife

Well today is the DAY! We plan on leaving here around noon, running a couple errands on the way, and arriving around 1600, having dinner and then HERFING like its 1965 - anyone else planning on dinner around 1600? Is this place a place that we'll need reservations? Any suggestions on the specialties of the house? Later...

Gingers BDay in a couple, and it's better than McDonalds, so yup for dinner.

We are planning to be there between 3-3:30, so we'll see if we can wrangle 3 tables up on the 2nd floor balcony (I don't think we can smoke up there, but can look out the windows) for dinner, then come down and snag the big round herfin' table in the bar area afterwards.

edit: I cant speel

15:30 to 16:00 for us unless I make a wrong turn :0

Dan,

If there are a lot of guys, you might want to go to the back where the jukeboxes are. Last time we had 7 or 8 and went back there and pushed the two tables together. It was smokier but less crowded.
