Maduro Madness

any maduro made by villazon, good taste, great bang for your buck!

I've only tried a few maduros (Onyx Reserve, R & J Reserve, Signature 101) and wasn't a big fan of any of them. Sounds like I may have to try an AF or Padron maduro though.

I have yet to smoke a PAM, To tell you the truth I don't know why I hear nothing but great things about them.

I am going to send this poor fellow a PAM and a PAN to try. Everybody needs to try one of these!

And, no, this is not a standing offer to send one to all that have not tried one before!

How about you just go out and buy a big stack of Maduro leaves, then wrap all of your non-maduro cigars in them before smoking!

Enjoy that PAM, and let me know how much harder I have to fight to keep from smoking the ones in my humi right now!

Damn! Thanks a lot bro!, This must be one hell of a cigar to make me A POOR FELLOW !
I can't wait to try one.

Thanks again.

My current favorite maduro in an affordable, for me, everyday price range is the Punch Champion. Nice, smooth, sweet. Six bucks or less at shops for singles. And nice constuction and shape.

Oh Ya! It is one Hell of a good smoke! I know that you will love it.

First let me say thank you to Alan for the smokes he sent me.

1. Padron Anniversary Corona 1964 maduro

2. Padron Anniversary Corona 1964 Natural

3. Carlos Torano Exodus 1959

Originally the plan was to let these sit in the humidor until Saturday and then smoke them all the same day but being the cigar whore that I am I couldn't wait.

The PAM is a great cigar with tastes of nuts and toasty flavors, with some hints of spice. This is definitely a must have in the humidor.

The Carlos Torano was a surprise because I don't here a lot about them and enjoyed it just as much.

The PAN is still sitting in the humidor awaiting a match. I fear it wont last longer than 8:00 tonight

Thanks for the great smokes Alan. Yes I placed an order for the PAM, was $220.00 a box to much?

I like the Ashton Aged Maduros, Partagas Maduros, and Onyx Reserve Maduros...

Tonight I'm tasting a RyJ Reserve Maduro and looking forward to it...

Never tried the AF Hemingways or Anejos, or the Padron's but definitely looking forward to trying them in the future..they're a little out my price range but expecting some extra $$$ in the near future and I will be buying those to try also...I just hope they're not so good that they leave me wanting more as they can only be a once-in-a-while purchase...

Which ones in the AF line are the sungrowns? The Anejo?

The regular AF line are the Sun Grown wrappers including the 8-5-8 which are some of the rarest cigars AF makes.

Any of the Château AF's are available in SG and are easily purchased from a AF dealer.

Forget about the Anejo's, all Anejo's must be sent to me for inspection and authentication

I am real glad that you liked them! I knew you would! By the way, the PAM & PANs were Exclusivos.

Ashton Aged Maduro #40 and Montecristo "C" Limited Edition 2003. Looks Like I will need to try a PAM!

C&R

My favorite maduros are Pams. My favorite size PAMs are Exclusivos, Pyramides, Monarcas, Superiors, Coronas and Diplimaticos, basically every friggin size.lol

My other favorite maduros are Anejo and Ashton Aged Maduros.

Now for my next quest...I got the AF Hemingway tasted (I know it's not a maduro), so next up on the list is the PAM...any suggestions on where to get these at a reasonable price?

Love those Maduros!

Especially can't live without those PAMs

Tried a few of the Hemi Maduros and others made by the Fuente Family really enjoyed them. Lately for a smoke that I can afford to smoke more often than PAMs Ive been enjoying Edge Maduros.

Hmmm...had an Edge for the first time last night too (besides the Hemingway's I smoked)...sharp start but mellows out as you smoke it...not sure I want to put it too high on the list yet...
