MacGyver Fan

Hi, NullSmurf! No, I have not yet seen the new commercial featuring MacGyver. I am looking forward to seeing it. I miss watching "MacGyver". It was an excellent television series. MacGyver certainly relied on his trusty Swiss Army pocket knife, as I also rely on mine! Maybe there will be a new "MacGyver" television movie special soon. Keep your pocket knife sharp, NullSmurf. It is a great commercial! I only wish that George Peppard was still alive so they could do an A-Team version of that commercial!

Didn't that commercial air during the Superbowl?

I'm certain Bill Brasky went in to a room with Ditka, Jack Bauer, and MacGuyver and he took a kidney from each. To Bill Brasky!

He completly lost me when during one episode there was a rough running air cooled motor. Diagnosis broken connecting rod ??? Solution use a set of jumper cables as a welder and quarters taped together as welding rods to weld said broken connecting rod.

i soldered 2 aluminium garbage cans together using a can of lysol,a lighter and some lead solder when i was a kid after watching a MacGyver episode. :cool:
we later blew up said cans with 2 M80's after my dad tried to lift them with an assload of yard waste in them. he really wasn't very happy.

Yeah, but did you notice NOBODY EVER got shot, even though guns were fired in almost every episode :whistling:

I watched that show once... he made a landmine out of a pine cone (that's my recollection anyway, though it seems far-fetched now, even for MacGyver.) Anyway, I never tuned in again.
