Well I finally got myself an ashtray. Up until now, I used to just ash on the front porch and let the wind do its thing, but figured I wouldn't be able to get away with that for long. I had intended on picking up an Arturo Fuente ashtray of some sort while at Casa Fuente in Vegas, but once there, wasn't too keen on their design. So I started looking on ebay and came across a Colibri of London ashtray and accessories set. I know a lot of folks here don't take to well to their lighters, but I actually like mine, so I figured this would fit in nicely.
The ashtray itself is a dark stained wood of some sort with stainless steel accessories such as a 7mm punch, guillotine cutter, ashtray and raised cigar holder. The whole thing folds up into a little box for easy transport if you wanted. All of the contents are held in place by magnets, except for the cigar holder, which is nice. So far I'm digging the cigar holder, though I wish it was a little bit closer to the ashtray for the shorter cigars that I frequently smoke.
Overall, I like it a lot and rather wish that the company hadn't closed it's doors. While some complain about their line of lighters, I think some of the stuff they made was pretty snazzy.
