Local B&M Bummer...

Please tell me there's an errant zero on that figure...

Nope... I asked him the same question. Next one was "so how many people have signed up for this." I was surprised that he said 47 so far.

I was trying to remember the name, I went as a guest with my brother 5 years or so ago. It was pretty low key, didn't have a sign outside. I remember someone there referring to it as 'the speak-easy'.
I have heard of one in NJ, and a guy at the cigar store when I lived in DC was trying to start one in NoVA modeled on the NJ one. I cannot recall the names of either though.

Actually their are now 2 cigar clubs that I know of in NJ. One around Parsippany & a new one in Newton . Being one of the founding members in the Newton one, it is the best thing our group has done. We have a 4000 sq ft area with a bar many TV's, a card / pool / dart area, a quiet room and a kitchen. We now have 75 members & always looking for fellow BOTL's. Our fees are reasonable at $50. A month and we have 24 hour access. Check us out on Facebook at Sussex County Social Club or on the web at www.sussexcountysc.com. Or drop me a pm. Would love to have you be my guest.
Happy holidays.

I see nothing wrong with an exclusive membership only lounge... We have one here in tge Springs that's amazing.

I don't either. There are multiple exclusive clubs in the area. Most don't have the exorbitant fees but to each their own. What got me was the $30 for an opus #4 and $25 for a Padron Exclusivo, membership did not lower these prices or serve any purpose but a place to smoke. I stopped looking at the cigars at that point and figured there was no way I could afford the "luxury" that he was selling
