Picked up these today. Rittenhouse for Old Fashioneds, keep hearing good stuff about the seagrass and this Traverse City barrel pick is suppose to be nice and chewy caramel bourbon bliss so I had to grab that too. Cheers!!!

So it was pretty good. Not $80 good but store picks always get an extra cost slapped on them. Worth about maybe $50

So the verdict is in on the Famous Grouse Black.
I enjoy it, its not a intensely smokey scotch. It has a nice smooth character with a light smokey taste more pronounced than the traditional. Its no Macallan but its punches above its price point for sure.
