Oh thank god for this! I remember that day in Chicago like it was yesterday...I was in some random cigar shop near the Vic, a new cigar smoker looking for these new Opus X people were raving about. CA said they tasted like blueberries, so I had to try one. The salesman broke the news that they were out, BUT if flavor was what I was looking for, then a Lars Tetens would haunt my palate until I could find an Opus X. And sure enough, all these years later, whenever a breeze catches a blast of my Hotshot Wasp Killer and blows it back into my face, I remember that day fondly.

Time to unload my stash of PL Sobresalientes to fund my orgy of tastebud cauterizing chemical annihilation not seen since the heyday of Union Carbide...

Come on, Lars has classed it up considerably...at least use Grey Flannel instead of Old Spice.

Waaaaaaay back when I was still searching local smoke shops for RyJ Bullies, the magazine 'n porn shop with a small walkin humidor down the street from the school I taught at had a bunch of Tetens "Milhous" cigars in the bargain bin, and I bought 3 or 4 for a buck or two apiece.

They were actually pretty good. Not like his more, aaaah, flavored stuff. At least I thought so at the time. No idea what I'd make of them now.
