Not bashing...but forgot to add this to the last post. SaxJazzMan, please use boxes for cigar travel. The Bologna was OK but the tag-a-long was bit flat....flat! Just a little FYI for cigar well-being. But thank you very much for allowing me to play. It will die a fiery death in a couple of days.

sjm, you can have usps ship you the little video cassette size boxes for free by just requesting them from usps.com. Makes things very easy.

Thanks for the tip. There is nothing like experience and there is a lot of that here. That is the way to go next time. I just hope that those that did arrive at least arrived smokeable to some extent. The good news is that Baloney took the fall this time!!! :rolleyes:

I got 1 today as well, also had an escort! Thanks for the escort Sax. I will torch the baloney this weekend, it is frozen (10 degrees out there) at present, did'nt get to the mailbox until 10:00 PM (overtime)!
 
Mine arrived fine, I think the double envelopes kept it padded enough. Thanks for theheads up on the free boxes though, gonna get some for a few bombs now!

Do you have a link for this? I only see 11x8x5 and 11x3x13 size boxes for free. Those will work, of course, but the VHS size boxes are ideal for sending out 5rs. Thanks.

Gentlemen, I really do believe we have witnessed the creation of a new cigar word.... "Packaged Pressed". It is for cigars that get squished in the mail. I think I will start using it around the site.

I am glad that they arrived, even if they are "packaged pressed". "PP" cigars, brought to you by cigarpass.com, to stand along with the perfecto, chisel and torpedo!!! :rolleyes:

I really enjoyed the extra you sent. Which vitola was it? It seemed a little less than 50 rg but I don't have a gauge. Was it a Robusto? I have little experience with this brand as that was only the second one I have smoked.

I was got stuck behind a truck carrying what I think was pig shit. It was the most GAWD-AWFUL smell I think I ever encountered. I was almost crying after being behind that stench for several minutes. No matter how much I backed off, the smell just wouldn't leave the road. :laugh:
