So, I had a Coolidor but slowly moved all the cigars into my current wineador long ago. Now, I’ve ramped up my buying and have several tupperdores, which are a GREAT concept. But I started looking for another cooler and found this for $50!

Nice! I won’t buy the fancy drawers I have in my current wineador, but will use this to store boxes mostly. I may buy some shelves, and I have a couple of Spanish cedar drawers. This should be terrific for my resting/aging fridge. I love a cheap deal!

Great snag!

I didn't know people still used craigslist - going to have to check mine out now!

I haven’t used it in years, but someone else here mentioned getting a wine cooler on it and I thought, hmmm, check it out!

Well, I cleaned up the fridgeador today. Soapy water, then alcohol, then distilled water with colloidal silver. I had a bunch of drawer dividers from the fancier wineador that I don't use, they annoy me, so I sprayed them with some water along with an extra shelf from the wineador, a box, and a tray. I have two more trays coming from Amazon today.

This will go beneath my wineador, I'll stack them, and this one will be where I leave boxes/bundles from purchase to anywhere from 6 months to a year, at which point I'll move the sticks to the shelves in the wineador. I have an Excel inventory and every now and then I'll create a picklist to bring cigars up to the humidor in the living area. For $50, I think this was a pretty good find!

Sorry for the glass reflection here but couldn't be helped.

The wineador which will go on top of this in the basement

The humidor in the living area.

Finally, the dry box with two Boveda 62% packs. It's small but the double pack provides more "ballast" I'm thinking.

Finally done with my OCD project of organizing all my storage.

Sounds like a great setup!
Thanks!

I started collection tupperdores after reading about them here, but when I got to four and was still ordering cigars, I figured, "This is stupid, find another cooler of some sort."

The basement is 60-65F year round, pretty stable and these fridges hold RH remarkably constant if the door seal is not damaged. I never plugged the wineador in, so it was dumb to buy a new one, but this Craig's List deal was perfect! This was not a wine cooler, it was a beverage fridge.

But I'd recommend anyone to look around on CL for something like this, esp if you have a basement and don't need the refrigeration. It's just a great cigar box!

Edit: Oh, I have an Oust fan in both of these. They're still available on eBay, and they work very well. They smell like the air freshener that the've been packaged with, but I put mine in a ziplock baggie with a couple of cheap cigars, suck all the air out of the bag, and let them sit for a few days. Got a couple of rechargeable D cells on Amazon. Easier than fiddling with computer fans and such.

I have mine stashed in a large cooler, a large "tupperdor" (something like 80 quarts), a medium tupperdor (maybe 40 quarts), and a wood desktop humidor that is a holdover from my very early days and is intended for the "on deck" sticks, but is in reality just overflow storage as I pull from any of them depending on what I decide I want to smoke. I like how yours is organized for aging, ready to smoke, on deck, and dry box. I should try something like that but the task is too intimidating LOL.

I used to have a coolador that fed the wineador and I just smoked out of that. Eventually emptied the cololador. The biggest improvement to my smoking was learning about dry boxing, here.

I’ve been buying a lot of sticks again, and this system seemed ideal. For me. Working on completing the Excel inventory, but then it should be super easy to maintain.

On Craigs List? There are two more wine coolers listed in the Philadelphia page at $50 each. Should not take long to find one. If you can’t find one on CL near you within a month, I’d be surprised.
