Just bought a 75-100ct. HUMIDOR.... Help me fill it....

I'm sort of new too. Smoking since about Memorial Day.
Still trying many different brands, wrappers and sizes
to find what I like.

I like the Gurkha Nepalese Warriors, Excaliburs,
Black Pearl Cobre or Rojo, Perdomo Golfs and
ESVs, and I just had a couple of Punch maduros
at a tasting on Friday, and think they are excellent
for the money. None of these are 'super premium'
smokes, but all are very good for the price. If you
find what you like in a $4 cigar, why spend $10+?

Save the $10+ cigars for special occasions!

And I still think you'll need another/bigger humi! :)

Chemyst

The beads look to take up a lot of space in my Humi. I think I will just stick with my setup as-is.

And by the way, it's getting full! Currently have 23 cigars in there now, thanks to Sam Clemmons for my "Newbie Sampler" and also Qualls07 for his sampler! :D

I'm looking for the right smoke, to buy a box of 25... Still looking - and still smoking!

Thanks again though, for everyone's contributions, I'm acquiring new stogies all the time!

I remember when I had trouble filling a desktop. Now I am looking for space in coolerdor cause my 750 count and my 150 count humi's are full. I think it's time to go for a 3000 count humi.

The only advice I could give you is try different kinds of singles to figure out what you like in your price range. Then ask your dealer if he'll give you a discount on a box purchace. They wont advertise that but the good stores will do it to keep their good customers happy.

As far as the humidity goes find something to prop the lid open a tiny bit (2 or 3 coins, a small wedge, a rubber washer). Most importantly watch the humidity level to figure out how much of an opening you need. The nice thing about the new cigar oasis is that you can set the humidity level at the humidafier. One final thing, if you have a coolerdoor with a drain plug, you can unscrew the plug out to do the same thing as propping the door open.
