I just bought my first Humidor... It's beautiful, 75-100ct., not really sure. But it's great.

Anyway, I'm not too concerned about that part... It's what inside that matters!

What should I fill it with? Any suggestions? I'm relatively new, only smoked maybe 25-30 cigars in my lifetime yet. So still experiencing everything.

Let me know, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

BTW, How do you lower your RH easily? With a standard humidor???

THANKS!

Those would be where I would start

If you had your address in your profile I would think you were a moocher. ???

Unfortunately, it isnt there. Good things (or at least mediocre things) might happen if you put it up or pm it to me. ;)

Padron delicias and arturo fuente chateau fuente. They are less then 5 bucks a piece.

You won't have any problem filling that humi.
The problem will be, "Where do you put the next
75-100 cigars?" (or even more, boxes!)

75-100 isn't all that many, believe it or not.

Chemyst

Arturo Fuente Short Stories... A go to smoke!

Introduction???

I am new on here. Seems like a very active forum< what I want. I'm a huge car enthusiast - mostly Euro Cars and exotics of the like.

I am 19, in college right now studying to be a Criminal Justice Major - pursuing a career in local law enforcement. :D

Thank God there is a friendly cigar shop 10-15 minutes away from me, that has also been very helpful in choosing a humidor and the cigars to go in it!

I have been smoking for the past year and a half, starting with black and milds *yucky now*, moving up to full-blown stogies *much more expensive!* I can't believe I used to smoke black and milds and think they were "allright." After I had my first REAL cigar, I was sold. Tossed out the black and milds and moved on!

I'm still learning about them, the different types and makes and all that. I'm looking for the "Rolls Royce" lol, since I started on a Geo Metro, and had a taste of what's out there...

Thanks for the warm welcome, and sorry for not introducing myself earlier.

Hey John,

Here are my suggestions: Best bang for the buck in flavor (I've found) is the Sancho Panza double maduro. The Macanudo Robust was a smooth, flavorful, mild smoke but pricier. My all time afforadable favorite is the La Flor Dominicana Series 2000 Toro. And the best I've had, but too pricey for everyday is the Opus X.

I've also enjoyed the Excalibur 1066 Galahads and Dark Knights, Partagas Black Label, Carolos Torano 1916, Oliva 0, Padron 1964 maduro (also very good, but too pricey for everyday. CAO Anniversary Cameroon was good, but mild for my taste. I thought CAO CX2 was tasty also.

Try a variety and don't form an opinion on just one try as sometimes you just get a dud. I thought my first Dark Knight was too strong and harsh for my liking but a month later another from the same fiver was a terrific somoke. My first Cohiba red dot was the nastiest thing I've tried, but I got two more I'm gonna give some serious rest to (long enough to forget the experience) before retrying.

Good luck with the adventure!!

There are a ton of really really expensive cigars. You will definitely learn about them in time. Being in college, I'd recommend waiting to seek those out just yet. Since you are just learning about what types of cigars you would like, the Newbie Sampler Trade will probably give you a great sampler to start with.

Welcome aboard.
