Jewett Humidor

I'm seeking information regarding a humidor manufactured by the Jewett Co., Buffalo New York. The humidor is old, made of word (pictured herein), about 1 cubic foot in size, and lined in porcelain. There's a stone tablet in the bottom of the humidor, to be soaked in water to produce the desired humidity level. The humidor was gifted to me, as such I'm trying to establish provenance, but have had little success searching the Internet, so I'm turning to the experts herein.

It could be a couple hundo to a couple G's.
It depends on where you sell it.
I'd contact a local antiques dealer or auction house.
