I have little to say about the last P/T as I also could not find anything on the Davidoff. And I'm not trying to start a fire, but I was curious about the first P/T. Just so it can be documented for others (and myself), I have jotted down my thought process and wanted to see what I was missing.
The Tatuaje Conoju '03 had an MSRP of $13 and is released every three years.
The AF Anejo 77 Shark has an MSRP of ~$12 and is released seasonally.
Thus I would place the Tat a higher value due to its age, more limited release, and MSRP. What did I miss?
What did you miss??? Not trying to be inflamatory but, that comment, at least as read and received by me, is not needed. A simple explaination regarding your valuation of the trade would be sufficient. IMO comments like that are not necessary. After all we are all brother's here aren't we
I think a little more courtesy and respect shoudl be extended to fellow CP'ers.
I preficed this as saying:
"As for my P's and T's. This was the hardest part. It took me over an hour to to try to line up value and rarity but, I think I did an pretty good job. Please let me know if something is off or if I need to revise any of these"
You have to understand Mr. Audikraut that Rarity is somewhat subjective. I have no problem revising that transaction as I said it was difficult for me to line these things up exaclty. I am trying, as we all are, to make the pieces of the puzzle fit as best as possible and am not trying to gain or profit just to share some stogies and have a good time. I have no issue re working this.
I see your point as valid. Just so you knw my thought process. I know we are going off of MSRP and to be honest I did not look this one up. I used my personal experience / knowledge from my local B&M the conoju sells for $13 and for whatever reason is usually in stock for several months after release, apparently we do not have much of a Tat following. I was unaware that this was a once every three year release. Anyhow, The Shark sells for 13.50 at my local and sells out in about 1 week. I figured it was kind of a wash and was pretty even. If anything my perception was, that while the conoju may be more of a limited release the shark due to the AF band, the unique shape and marketing hype was more in demand. As with most things, these are all relative to the individuals point of view / experience and I honestly thought this trade to line up the most even ot of all of them. go figure.
I am not trying to get anything additional out of this and if it doesn't compute thats fine by me. As with all my transactions here, I try to give more than I get, thats just who I am. Because of my nature I may have been a little sensitive to your, what I took as farily rude and un needed comment. If it was just your nature and harmless, I accept that and no harm done. We can move on.
Any how, no worries at all, I am completely cool about re doing any of these thats why we run these things up the flag pole as people see adn value things differently.
Any other thoughts on this?
