ISOM Box Code

I'm not real experienced with ISOM box codes. I'm being
offered a box of Monte No. 2's, code "B0203541". Does
this sound legit ?

Nope....doesn't follow any box code convention I know of

probably the serial no. on the seal...
find out the date on the box...my guess...should be late '00 or sometime '01
(from the bo at the beggining of the serial no.)

My advice.... consider the source. If you're having to question the source the Red Flag is waving at you.

I have purchased cigars from him before with no problem,
but never ISOM's. My suspicions stem more from my lack
of knowlege of the item in hand than lack of trust. He e-mailed
me back saying the code on the bottom of the box was :

EOG FEB04

Sound right ?

nope
the serial no on the seal should be from around '00 or '01.
serial numbers on the seal began (about)january '00 with the letters AA******
and progressed through the alphabet from there.

also the factory code"eog"has not been used since mid'03(i think).
