No takers over the weekend.

I am, however, a man of my word so I'll cowboy up and smoke one tonight.

But DAMN did I have a hell of a time finding some. I tried no less than 7 places before a humble gas station was able to hook me up with a pack.

I uh... Can't wait.

I tried a Grape White Owl a few months back at the insistence of a couple of my son's buddies at the fraternity house. All I can say is: Those poor misguided souls.

The taste and smell was so repulsive that I could not finish any more than about the first third (it makes me feel dirty to even refer to thirds for this smoke). As I whined about their lack of culture and simultaneously thanked them for their generosity, I broke out a box of Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Barcelonas. Obviously a superior cigar since it is bigger than a Grape White Owl :whistling: I particularly enjoyed watching the boys turn green from smoking the SPEF's as revenge for the dog rocket they foisted upon me. I have promised to return this fall with a box of "higher end" smokes to advance their educations. Perhaps some LFD Chisels are in order.

Can we hear a review from Neal, errr... that VERY well seasoned writer on his impression of this most sought after cigar???

I heard that Castro exclusively gives Grape White Owls as diplomatic presents. Cohiba, Trinidad, psht. Castro nows where it's at.
