Isabella Cigars

Lol, as a noob I'm getting the impression there's something fishy with these various people from Miami and their connection to various buisnesses...hope this is as entertaining as the last thread.

Mike

Actually, I've spent lot's of time in Miami and know most of the locals,,,,,Charlie Torano, Kiki Berger, Frankie Santos, etc.,,,,but I've never heard of nor seen these cigars.......which is what piqed my interest. I should have looked at the date ???

But your usage of multiple commas has been duely noted. Just a theory I'm working on. :whistling:

I have no connection to the retail store aforementioned-I did find info on the Isabela cigar by googling isabela cigar v ortiz and found productio and info dating back to 1999. Show a little interest in a damn good boutique cigar and you guys are hammering me ??

Isabela in first look may 1999-cigar weekly website under "first look section-now do you believe ?

The true Isabela cigar is crafted in MiamiFlorida by renowned cuban master Vicente Ortiz. The band and the cigar are both highly reminiscent of the original cuban Cohiba, whose blend for Castro was created by masters Avelono lara and Vicente Ortiz. These 'Yellow" band Isabela are hard to find and highly sought after, and are just a truly phenomenal unique cigar, like I said the closest cigar I could compare in flavor to theIsabela cigar would be a cross between a late eighties cuban Cohiba and an early nineties cuban Romoeo y Julieta. There is a store in the midwest that has direct access to alimited supply of Isabelas, that store is Prime Cigar Company, and their website is www.primecigar.net, or e-mail them at primecigarco@yahoo.com. Good luck and the Isabela cigars are worth it-Ive rarely had a cigar that good and for 6-10 a stick, its a asteal !!

is this the smae smoke?

I have enjoyed several of the fabled Miami " Isabela" cigars and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor which is reminiscent of the Cuban Cohiba in its glory days-smooth creamy and rich, with a hint of spice and long-lasting finish ! These cigars have been always hard to find, but I have heard that they will become much more available in 2009 when they will hit a limited distribution and website as well !!

found this floating on the net

These posts taken from different places sound very much the same to me and very much like an advertisement.

I am not bashing you at all, I just asked if you had any connection to the cigar company you have mentioned in this post.

I would be interested to see what some of the CP'ers in Miami, have to say about these cigars.

I could send you a few of the robustos I have and you can judge jury and execute a good smoke !! Also, how do i find these much talked about " JohnyO " cigars ?

Do you have any idea where they are rolled in Miami. I'd be happy to stop by and buy a few.

I'm still a newb here, so pardon me if I'm out of line, however you're very new here with very limited posts. Half your posts have been championing these mysterious cigars, even to the point of sending samples out, and a look at your profile lists no contact, no personal info whatsoever. So please excuse some of us if we're a bit skeptical. Some people have tried to shill stuff on CP before. They don't last very long.

Just my .02

Isabelas are rolled in Miami by Vicente Ortiz and three other masters , in small batches for extremely limited distribution. If one would like to contact Vicente or Isabela to pick some up or check out the factory in Miami, you could contact the factory at isabelacigarcompany@yahoo.com

no shilling involved when the samples are free now, is there Mr. Paranoid Cigar fan ??!!!

If anyone cares,,,I emailed Isabela this morning, and received the following:

Yes, Isabela cigars are still available and made in Miami !! Let us know what sizes/ quantties you wish to order. And watch for Isabela and Vicente in an article inthe upcoming CA magazine!! Thank you Charles,
Ricardo

LOL-No seriously, did you visit the shop in LIL Havana or did you contact the store in wi or Texas ? I told you paranoid crack-head cigar freaks that those Isabela cigars were the Bomb !!

flattery will get you nowhere.

Isabela cigars are not made by Oliva, they are made by Vicente Ortiz in miami. I challenge you to call Oliva cigars and ask them directly, then post there response. Oliva cigars 1-888-432-4427.

I smoked a Isabella for the first time saturday night. My buddy and I went to Prime Cigar I grabed a punch after dinner and my friend got somthing else. We were talking with the employees there and just smoking and become good friends. The man working was talking up these cigars and he said you have to try one. So out of nowhere when i finished my punch and my friend fisnished his the man gave us 2 isabellas on the house. they go for $10.00 I will say hands down the best cigar ever made in the U.S. so smooth nice sweet taste. I had a cuban last summer and this for sure compared to it. I bought 5 before i left. Being a college student I have a tight budget otherwise I would of bought more. The man said this is the first time in two years that they have had them. and they usually dont last long because they are so rare. So if you try Prime Cigar they may still have themm for a few more days?

Oh no, not another import cigars "bad marketing" ploy.

kgpuff88, why would you join these forums, and on your FIRST post praise cigars that most of us with lots of ties in the industry have never heard of until today?

I'd bet some of these IP's match, and if the don't....what is your purpose here on the forum? To promote a product? All we ask is you be upfront and honest...

I have been thinking the same thing for a little bit now.
