iPass Jazz Pass & Vine

Gonna meet Mike at the store Sat for the handoff. Can't wait to for all that music!!

I wonder if Marc will be available for a handoff later in the week. I'm out of pocket Thur thru Sun, so if we can't get together, I'll just have to mail.

I picked up Side B of the Vine from Mike today. MERCY!! at all that music. Mike was kind enough to leave me a little bonus on the HD as well as a very nice PIF. Thanks Mike!!

Marc, you're next. There is no way I can make it out to meet you this week, so I'll just have to mail it. I might go with FedEx instead just so it gets tracked better. Would you prefer a different address if I do that? Package is going out Tuesday.

Later this year, I'd like to come out and meet you face to face and see the store. We'll get together then.

Everything looks great guys! I've updated the first post with the latest information and hopefully am up to date.

Wow, some great surprises David, Emily Remler is good example. Until I heard her play, it had never occurred to me that I couldn't name single female jazz guitarist. I'm sorry to also learn that she passed in 1990.


Speaking of surprises, I suppose I should 'fess up. I've bumped this branch of the vine up a bit. I've included the original iPass Blues. You'll need 18.2 gigs to accomodate 2662 titles for a total of 212 hours of iPass bliss. In the interest of fairness, if anyone who's already received the vine or anyone from the other branch wants a copy, shoot me a pm, I'd be happy to burn some copies.

I'm thrilled you dig Emily. She was a close friend and on my Myspace page (www.myspace.com/guykurshenoff)
there are a couple of pictures of me playing with her in my apartment. I was not ( and still am not) anywhere in her league but she was very gracious and was always willing to play with me and she was very encouraging too.
She's missed by a lot of people.
 
Wow! What a tremendous blessing that must have been. She was incredibly talented.

Hey Guys, I want to welcome Putz Mulligan to the Vine, he's made an interesting offer in order to join the Vine at this point. Since he's a CA brother I didn't think it would be a problem adding him right before the Vine gets back to me.
