Hello all. The name's Leon. So glad I found this forum. In the short time I've been here I've learned some new things and have yet to encounter any forum nazi's.

My question is have any of you had a cigar where like the leaf was starting to turn green? Or just has spots of green on it? I'm not sure if it's mold but it looks like the leaf is literally turning to grass or something. I can't rub it off. Please be gentle... only been smoking for 3 months.

Welcome!

Summary of the linked thread is that you should send those spotted cigars to us to do hands-on testing.

edit: damned spelling

thanks for the link guys. I will enjoy it knowing that there's nothing wrong with it. not like i wouldnt smoke it if it had mold anyways

If it does not rub off and looks more like a stain on the wrapper then its a water spot.

Oh and welcome from Florida. I once transported cigars with a q-tip wet with water and it touched the cigars. The cigar turned just like you mentioned where the q-tip touched. I thought the same thing but if it looks more like a discoloration in the wrapper than your good.
