Interesting cigar news story

I don't see what the big deal is. Anyone who goes into a cigar shop knows what they are in for. It's not like there are "smoke free" cigar shops. This is tantamount to making racing illegal at drag strips, road courses and auto crosses all over the world. What the hell are we coming too here.

We make a point to smoke mainly in shops and cigar clubs where every is either a BOTL or a SOTL. We all enjoy the act of smoking and thus we are hurting no one.

Ok now my first thoughts to all of this is that it sucks but then I think how difficult is it really. The ban is for enclosed public places right? So why not make the lounges private clubs? Give them a 5 dollar membership fee and then offer a $5 rebate on their first cigar purchase. Wouldn't this work to bypass the law? I really don't know but there has got to be something right?

The laws mostly focus on the retail shops with a couch and some TVs. It's a public retail establishment...not a private club.

In FL it's illegal to smoke indoors anywhere there is food cooked. 1 Bar in town actually has 100% of it's menu prepared somewhere else, then delivered to the bar.

Sure but that's what I mean can't any retail establishment that wants to allow smoking just say "we are a private club" and then charge a membership fee for all of it's customers and then give them that money back on their first cigar purchase? Wouldn't this get them around the public place BS?
