Illusione H-Town Lancero On Its Way

Halfwheel initially reported they were already for sale by phone, and quickly updated the info after what I'm assuming was a deluge of phone calls from folks like me trying to get a box. I'll be getting these asap, and from what I understand the next H-Town lancero after this one will be a RoMa Craft Neanderthal. Bye bye money.
 
Can't swing it right now but life is good anyway. These temptations this time of year with all the goodies are par for the course. You pick your boxes, be happy you have cigars you like, and be grateful for them.

Being an illusione whore has its price. :p
 
I'd be happy to broker a split on a box or two, saving folks the first leg of shipping. Depending on how many boxes I can get will determine the number of entrants. If you want your own box, I'd recommend you buy it directly from the store.

Just an FYI- the lanceros are available on the website now...they definitely added them since last night. My sincerest apologies for taking the time to place an order before I came back over here to spread the good news :D.

Illusione tends to be a nice smoke. Among my absolute favorite NC. I haven't had any of their Lanceros, but my favorites tend to be the thinner ring ga. I have several with a few years on them. I need to smoke some to see how they age.
 
I have yet to try an NC that I liked so far, but I will trust your judgement on these Dan... ...​
 
Kidding aside. To my palate, Cuban Tobacco is the best. I love Cuban Petit Coronas, and nobody else even comes close (Is it the blending, the tobacco, both?). In looking for something satisfying, Illusione fits in. I smoke mainly the MK and CG4 (corona gorda) Also the 68 but not as often. It's more like, I love them out of what I can get. And, at a time when a lot of the brands I could smoke seem to be going to shit, Dion has maintained his high standards for the brand.

Sort of like, I can't get a main Lobster, so shrimp will have to do. Enjoy both, but Lobster would win every time.

I consider it ironic that Illusione is one of the few cigar brands NOT trying to be "Cubanesqe"-- Dion originally set out to recreate the pre-Sandanista Joya de Nicaragua flavor profile-- yet he NAILS the floral & olfactory aspects in a way that I only taste in Habanos.

Bill, PM me your addy and I'll hit you up with some Illusiones, particularly some narrow-ring Epernays, next week. They will not supplant Habanos as you go-tos, but I think you'll find them likable.
