If you could get your hands on that elusive / rare cigar ......

Nothing too special, but still impossible to find. I would love to find some Partagas 898's from the 90's.

I would like to have one of the larger sizes of a 50's or 60's Don Candido. I have been looking for 2 yrs now and have only seen pictures. It has been and will be at the top of my wish list forever. I might just have to go to Christies next vintage cigar auction. I wonder when it will be?

I was thinking you could get one from Casa Fuente. Im not sure if they have them but, if they do I bet you would be paying a bundle.

I think the Davidoff from the 80s are a helluva lot easier to come by than the Opus Maddie!

A nice 80s Davidoff would be at the top. That's a classic, baby!!

Quade

Agreed without a doubt. Realisticly speaking maybe a Padron mill. or a Opus Maddie.

Alan, That date in November 15th...

Start saving your pennies lol :)

A hand rolled cigar made by one of my cousins for my grandfather. Never got the opportunity to smoke one of my families cigars.

Interesting topic.

For me though, there is no cigar I'd waste any time chasing, I'm just not into the collecting aspect.

I'd rather smoke a fresh Swisher Sweet this Easter Sunday with my Dad, and Brother than be alone and smoke any of the stuff you guys have mentioned on this thread. I mean , if you get that maduro opus when are going to smoke it? Are you going to burn it alone, or stick it in everyone's face while you smoke it with others. :D :D :D :D Neither way is preferred. You really need to get two.

Plus, I've smoked some Holy Grail cigars and other than the Padron Millenium, they have never been worth the price, be that cash or trade.

If I had an Opus Maduro I would want to be alone so nobody would bug me while I smoked. ANd the only way I would ever smoke another Swisher would be if it was re-rolled somehow :whistling: .

If we're going to go completely unrealistic, something from the year I was born, 1976. On a handful of occasions I have been able to drink something at least as old as I am. So I'd like to smoke something as well.

Id also like a birth year cigar from 1970 which is the year I was born. Dont know when I would smoke it though. Maybe my 50th birthday?

There is something about having a special cigar by oneself. I have enjoyed a few higher caliber cigars by myself on the deck with nice weather and a drink. On the other hand there is also something special about sharing a fine cigar with someone else or a group.

Never gunna happen:

Opus X Maduro BBMF, Opus X Football, Opus X Tricolor Barber Pole "A", Opus X End of Story, or an Opus X Quad-color Culebra.

Might happen:

Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario, or maybe a Cuban Dunhill.

This is a hard question. :sign:

1986 & 1992 Bolivar Gold Medals.

'86 = Son's Birth year
'92 = Daughter's Birth year

Sancho Panza Dulcinea
Sancho Panza Dorado
Bolivar Especiale #1
Bolivar Especiale #2

These are four I have never had and still wish to try someday. There are many others I've had that I'd enjoy smoking again.
