The sample arrived in good order and his companions are top notch. Thank you again Kris for your generosity. I will post my thoughts here when I can. I did get to open the bag and I got a real nice hint of sweetness and fruit. Reminded me of gummy bears.

I have to say the PLE is  a really good cigar.  It seemed like every time I took a draw there was a new flavor coming through.  The only issue I had was a bit of a tight draw but since I tend to gnaw it wasn't a hinderance.   Some of the reviews I read also reported the same thing so glad it wasn't just me.  I think it is safe to say we have a winner.

Damn William, I was hoping that you didn't like them so I could snag that box from you - LOL. Just kidding bro and glad that you enjoyed it. PL is quickly becoming my favorite marca especially with all the tasty RE's that they have. If you get a chance you should also try the PLPC as it's a great cheap smoke.

I am quite honestly amazed how much flavor and complexity is packed into this thing and yet still be at most a medium bodied cigar. An eye opener on the world of cigars for sure.
 
If you plan on long term, get some Bolivar Royal Coronas. These will age nicely for a good number of years and be damn fine out of the gate.

Congratulations.....one thing I did after my children were born was seek out some CC cigars that were the box code of the month and date of their birth.  A couple I have set aside for hopeful future wedding days but typically on birthdays or other special occasions that is what I smoke.  it was fun hunting them down and got some help from some brothers here......I actually have a couple of 5 packs that are verified to have come off the rolling table on the day that my second daughter was born.....
