Hey Hodgy, why don't we go back and answer the previous post, in which your initial post started this mess, rather than a weak attempt to divert the attention away from the root cause of all of this. Is there something in my post that you feel is correct, is wrong or otherwise??? Afterwards I will gladly go through and cite specific examples of where you "directly and personally" attacked a poster - there's plenty there...

You know, Hodgy... If I was to make a post that drew swift response of the negative kind, I'd be tempted to do one of two things....

1) Try to figure out what it was I said in my post that caused the uproar. If it TRULY was not my intent to offend, I would post something to calm the others down. Not post a bunch more crap to stir the pot even more...

2) would start out with a post I KNEW would raise eyebrows and know would draw a rebuke. In that case, clearly my intent was to upset the community and I wouldn't care WHAT the consequences were.... I would post more crap to stir the post...

Direct means direct. Saying you take a general observation personally is still not a direct attack. How can I, before you say that an attack on your brother is an attack on you, know that I am directly attacking you without saying your name?

If I said in my first post something along the lines of "STFU (insert name), why don't you wise up, blah blah, you as an LEO break the law and it pisses me off that you do it." then that is a personal attack. I'm not trying to say I never did personally attack or disrespect anyone, but I certainly wasn't the first, so I see no credibility in saying my post was the ignition to the flame.

By the way, if you do take offense that easily, then I am by all means sorry and apologize.

Best thing for you to do do is to STFU, lick your wounds, and try to regain some credibility. As of right now it would be safe to assume you have 0.

Rarely ever a newbie incite the flame war you have. Your bud bigmac is one of the few I remember doing this. Funny how people of low credibility find each other.
