Therefore, if there were people who wanted to commit acts of terror there is nothing stopping them

Therefore, the whole system only serves to terrorize us.


It really all goes back to the premise that crime cannot be prevented but can only be deterred.

It's like we are being told the whole country has taken out a restraining order on terrorists and we all know how well they work against a determined perp.

Oddly enough, the article says he can only get three years in prison for it, even though he drove her from Hemet to the San Diego Airport and passed through several TSA checkpoints with a BB gun pistol on his hip and a fake flat badge. I suppose sending that girl on a plane to another country against her will while playing "cop" is only worth three years in federal court! :laugh:
