I started working out lately, and I have seen little gains in weight. I was 145 about a week ago, and now 148!

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant. When I used to smoke cigarettes, they kept me skinny. It was only a matter of weeks after I quit that I put 15 to 20 pounds on. Depending on how many cigars you're smoking (and when you smoke them), this could be a factor for you as well. Although, it doesn't seem to be a suppresant for everyone.

haha, yeah. I tried honey butter for the first time around thanksgiving at a friends house and it was like an epiphany. :D

Since I don't drink soda any more, I feel the same way with a coke with a slice of lemon

Sounds like going to the Texas Roadhouse. Warm rolls with honey butter, and the loaded sweet potato that you can get as a veggie (ha!) with your meal comes with caramel sauce and torch-toasted marshmallow on top. drool...

you have to simply decide do you wanna be fat, miserable, and have a greatly reduced lifespan, or not. 300+ pounds you're already in a very dangerous spot

My downfall is Apple Butter. You fellow southern boys gotta know what i mean.

MMM!!! Apple Butter. One of the finer things in life. I always have a jar in my fridge at all times. When I was in the gym 5=6 times a week about a year ago, I was hovering around 220 lbs. and I ate around 10,000- 12,000 calories a day. I stuffed my face with absolutely everything I could get my hands on about 5 to 6 times a day. Taco Bell was my weakness. Until I tore my shoulder up. If you stay active you can pretty much eat what you want. I was burning WAY more calories than I was consuming. Worked well for me, back then, and I'm 32 years old.
