Just wanted to share a great customer service story with everyone. I had a loyal customer come in this morning with 9 VSG Spellbounds that got completely destroyed by a ruptured Boveda pack. He asked me for a contact number to call them. I offered to call for him and I spoke with Sean, the company President. After explaining to him exactly what had happened, he offered to pull 9 Spellbounds out of his humidor and is sending them in the mail today. That, my friends, is the definition of customer service!

Nice to hear! You and Sean both deserve credit.

You're kidding right? I thought the right thing to do in your position was to tell the customer, "That sucks!", then tell them they'd better get online and try to find a number to get a hold of Boveda and try to work it out. At least that's what some asshats in your position would have done.

Glad to hear (no really, I'm super anal about this) that someone in the world still cares about the customer and making things right.

Well Put Gonz.

Too many people now take for granted the idea of the brush off. We have grown accustomed to being treated like cattle.

It is good for a company and a person to go that extra mile, not just because it is good business, but because it is right.

Oh man that read back to me like a rant...

Israel,

Way to take care of your customer!!! I wouldn't expect anything else .

Also, great job giving Boveda the props they deserve, all too often we are quick to piss and moan about bad customer service...it's great to see someone praising a company when it's truly deserved.

Nice job Isy & Boveda!

It is refreshing to know especially in the current economic climate we found ourselves in. Often people are only looking out for themselves during the money crunch, it is nice to see that business remember who they make their money (customer service).
 Kudos to all involved...

Very nice story, thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work Israel.

That's very nice of you to take care of your customer like that, and very nice of you to give props to the company .

The same thing happened to me with 10 Dunhill Mojito's. :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

No surprises here on Israel's part, his outfit is one of the best. Nice to see Boveda also stand up and make it right. Well played all around!

As I told you last night at Schlesingers Israel, you are the king of customer service. Sean is a great guy and he definitely stands behind his product. Keep up the great work brother and I'll see you soon........ :)

Ya think' maybe the current economic climate might somehow actually be related to the fact that some 30odd yrs ago the thieving powers that be thought by continuously cutting back and scrimping on the customer might some how be a good money maker(or at least a swell way to line their own pockets).......... :whistling: .....as Mo said what comes around, and boy has that smacked us a bit around lately..... :sign:

But I digress and don't want to be cast as starting something political...

P.S. Nice job Isy!!!

That is a great customer service story. Glad to hear Sean is such a stand up pres.
