Hello Folks,
Thinking about getting one of the humidimeters for $30. Dont think I really have to have it however you folks know how hard it is not to buy accessories im quite sure. So if anyone her has used one and could give your thoughts it would be much appreciated. Take care and enjoy your cigars in good health.

Are those able to be calibrated? I didnt see that mentioned (but Ive been sick so I could have missed it). Ive never had a hygro that didnt have to be calibrated, including a fairly expensive one that is off by 4%. I still use it but I have to remember to add 4% when I check it lol.
Drop a link

I think most of use have or are migrating to the https://a.co/d/dS6f

Yes, in the app you can adjust the temp and the RH.

I have been using these for 2 years and still have 5 out of 5 power bars. I try to calibrate them every 6 months but we all know how that goes somtimes. Only 1 out of 12 have been off so far it couldnt be adjusted in the app. But it is accurate if you remember how far off it is.

I should have mentioned im referring to the unit that you push the pins into the cigar and measure the humidity level of the cigar your about to smoke. sorry

Ahh,
I have that too

It's a neat tool when I remember to use it

I was gonna grab one of those bc yes, you are correct in that we want all of the toys, as anyone w a hobby does (you should see how much fly fishing/tying stuff I have). But then I figured if this is to check an individual cigar before smoking it, I have a dry box w a 62% Boveda and a small hygro in it. Is this meant for that purpose or to occasionally check one cigar in a humi as a sample?

Would also like to hear what you think after you've received and used it a while. CHEERS

I think it is pretty accurate, most read where I would expect them too

It has been more handy to show me a stick needs to sit a bit longer...

Thanks MX I appreciate it. Im curious where the humidity levels on some of the cigars are as compared to what the digital hygrometers say.
