I have black plastic/lexan window and sunroof wind/rain deflectors and they look great but they have gotten a bit cloudy and I haven't found the right product to bring them back to clear and shiny.

I don't know if the headlight stuff will work because I think that stuff is a very temporary solution?

Any suggestions?

Edited to add.....I can't use the buffing pads due to how the deflectors are attached.

I haven't seen any headlight stuff that has been permanent.
I actually had Wal Mart of all places do mine on my old truck three months before I traded it in. Still looked like new headlights when I got my new truck. I don’t know what they use, but everything else I have tried, I’d agree with Nate.

Interesting, mine are bad enough I'm considering just buying all new assemblies.

My 2004 Tundra, they were so yellow and brittle, that’s what I was planning to do, but. I sold it when we had to sell the house. The 2009 Tundra I traded in wasn’t horrible, but they were faded and discolored. I tried doing it myself with some kit. Looked good for about two weeks and that was it. Was at Wal Mart getting the oil changed when the tech asked me if I wanted the headlights restored. Not even sure why I said yes. It’s Wal Mart after all, and I was setting myself up for disappointment. Like I said, I didn’t watch him, but sounded like he was using some kind of air tool die grinder with a pad on it. I remember thinking “holy shit” in surprise when I saw how clear the lenses were when I went to get in my truck after he pulled it out. They were still like that when I traded my truck in at the dealer three months later. 🤷🏻

I'll probably give her a go. Nothing to lose at this point.

I used a Mother's kit on my daughter's Mini a few years ago, and the headlights still looked like new several month later when she wrecked it... :P

I bought this at Amazon because it had good reviews and I can return it if it doesn't work.

Gave this stuff a quick try and I am extremely impressed! It did wonders for the black window and sunroof deflectors and even better on the headlights!

Very impressed!
