This is a rather belated post, but time gets away from one with a newborn, you see - especially when nary a diaper have I changed before. So far things are going well & we are gradually adapting to the metamorphosis.
It took our terra canis some time to come to terms with his new roommate however, as he was the cause of a dramatic episode upon the day after our return. Feeling as though he had not received enough attention (never you mind me leaving the hospital & providing him walks) & unsure as to how to handle a rival noisemaker in his home; he decided to procure an IV & a night at the vet after becoming lethargic whilst chasing his nemesis, The Squirrel, outside. He is now acclimated to his new comrade & wishes often to lick him in the face; although at times he still chooses to turn his back on reality.
Now the fun part for you. If you can discover the answers to the 3 questions below, I have something I wish to give to you. Not only to share in celebration of my new journey, but also as a thank you to this community, from whom I have learned much.
1. What box of cigars did I acquire in order to celebrate this occasion?
2. Tell me one of the genres of auditory pleasures I enjoy while burning the leaf at night.
3. From whence did I derive my alias?
(I will have the utmost respect for you if you knew this without searching.)
I don't have the inventory to offer a five-pack, but what I do have for the winner is a single that happens to share my son's initial, one which many a fine BOTL covets.
