My last cigar of 2004 was also my first cigar for 2005... an '02 Cohiba Robusto paired with an excellent chilled sake. This pairing surprised me... the subtle flavors, crisp finish and coolness made for a great pairing!
At the stroke of midnight I was pullin' on a Trinidad Belicoso Maduro (part of my Christmas gift from my brother) and was almost through with it. Was drinking a large glass of Ice Water watching fireworks exploding all around my town from my front porch. It was great.
They are changing the packaging on the entire line. Soon you'll have a NEW 18 to look forward to buying! The 18 is most likely the best "bang for the buck" in the Macallan line. IMO.

Hey AVB. . .
Did you notice I mentioned my 18 y.o. Macallan? I've been nursing that bottle for a while. . . .LOVE IT!
Smoked a Camacho Liberty, which was sort of fitting as I was in New York City at Times Square. There were a few cigar smokers there, which was nice to see. I also got shoved out of the way by Secret Service guys trying to get Colin Powel out of the mess. Sort of cool.
After an awesome sushi dinner, finished 2004 with a San Cristobol El Principe
while sitting on the patio of the Blue Cafe in Long Beach, CA with friends. Started off 2005 with a PAM Superior and espresso martinis. Great combo !
