Houston Area Herf

I've got confirmations from Elton and Saurabh. Another friend of mine is also going to join us. I'd text the kids but I don't have their numbers.
 
Cool. I might head in a bit before 6 to get something to eat at Istanbul. That was an awesome sandwich last time.
 
We need to plan a going away herf. We are going to lose the ends of the group, the kids and some bald fat guy. I'm thinking July 13, which is a Friday I think. July 14 is my parent's 60th anni party and we drive away July 21. I'm open to dates, times, and places, but we need to start figuring out what works best for most people. Maybe the pass will be back before then.
 
I'll know Saturday if I'm getting a house or not. The 13-15th my son will be with his mother, so I'm open that weekend. The other two weekends around it I can't swing.

If we can wait for some news this weekend, I might be able to host, depending on a closing date as my place will be central for everyone.
 
I will be in India until the 13th, but if that's the easiest date for everyone then that's cool. I will just have to try and say bye to James some other time.
 
Congrats on the housing news. Ours wasn't so good. We are heading to Gainesville to look for a temp. apartment for 3 months.
 
So we might have to come up with a backup location. We close on the house tomorrow, but I might not be moved in before the 13th due to painting, etc. I really won't know until the 11th or so.
 
Should we set a date to set a date? lol Then maybe we can decide on the location afterwards so we can get this ball rolling.
Wanna shoot for 1 week to set the herf date by? Say...Saturday July 14th?

The herf needs to happen on the 13th or 14 th. if we can find a host we coul always meet somewhere. I'm packing up the truck and moving away on the 21st. Despite how fun it sounds to load a moving van and drive hundreds of miles hung over, I would rather not. I am available in the evening o the 14th. My parents party is supposed to end at 5. So I will be on the west side of town already.
 
My house will be open on the eve of the 13th or 14th...13th preferred, but whatever works let me know. Now, I have some construction going on....but the essentials will be in place to have a nice little party.
