Hopefully I don't get torn apart for asking this...
Do you think there are any good machine made cigars? I usually have AyC when I am low on money. What are your thoughts?

Dan

The only machine mades i have ever enjoyed are Jose Piedra's for about $55 shipped for 25 cellophaned.

You'd be better off smoking a Ct. puro. Muniemaker. At the very least it's all tobacco and in a pinch and with a little aging they are the best free world machine made.

Doc.

I have to agree with Doc. These are not bad. And as to your question about good machine made cigars, yes, if by good you mean ones that can be enjoyed. In fact some ISOMs are machine made. To your question I would say, experiment, experiment, experiment. That is what is great about this hobby, the ability to try things. Enjoy and good hunting!!

If you get that low there is always Cbid. You can almost always find something for a buck each or even less.

Swallowing my pride, I can admit that I don't think AyC's totally suck. Don't get me wrong, I never go out of my way to buy them, but if I couldn't get to a b&m, or didnt have time but wanted something, I wouldn't hate myself for stopping in a gas station and getting an AyC, preferably the candellas.

Edit: Typo

LMAO! When I saw the title of this thread, the FIRST thing I said was "Muniemaker" and I'm glad to see that two others already beat me to it! Devil Doc and Saxjazzman obviously are very well informed cigar smokers. :)

Seriously, these are pretty darn good cigars, Connecticut puros as Doc said. My dad used to smoke these all the time so they were the first cigar I ever tried (when I stole them from him as a kid). A couple of my politician friends who have been smoking cigars for longer than I've been alive swear by these so who knows, maybe there's a lesson to be learned from them....

Yep, no need to go for the machine made ones. Some relatively decent smokes on CBID for low prices to be had.

There is just something about this smoke.. It reminds me of Super Troopers and then I can't help but remember the "Car Ram Rod" line. For nostalga alone, give these a whirl hehehehe

 ... That is funny!!! There is a guy @ work we call Ram Rod!!!

I like Quinteros Brevas... If you're looking for a cheap cigar - for the money ya just can't beat 'em

If money is the issue, the HOCGC at JR is the best cigar I ever had for under a buck. Consuegra is also great at $1.25
